Finding flood Insurance

Some of us are finding ourselves in flood zones that didn't use to exist.  We didn't ask for this, but now we need to make sure we have flood coverage to satisfy our mortgage holder.  Insurance companies seem to be running for the hills when it comes to offering flood coverage.  How do we solve this problem?  

 Hopefully your agent can help you find a solution to include your flood coverage with your homeowners policy.  In certain areas companies are increasingly declining flood coverage leaving no choice but to insure through the NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program).
